Here are the pictures from my trip to Italy. I saw the major sites and got done everything I really wanted to. This isn't all the pictures but it is the pictures that turned out half decently. :)
The pictures are grouped by day. Below is a brief summary of what I did each day. Click the day to view the pictures.
Ran around and saw the Colluseum and ancient rome. Then explored the city and saw other classic sites.
Went to the Vatican. I picked the single worst day to go. Most museums are closed on Mondays and the Vatican was packed. I did a tour so saw the most important things. No pictures allowed of the Sistine Chapel.
Went to Florence!
Came back from Florence. Watched the work men get ready for the Pope's visit on Thursday.
Saw the pope give a blessing near my hotel. Climbed the dome at St Peters and toured the tombs of the popes.
Went to the park.
Went to Venice!
Took another look at Ancient Rome. I didn't think I gave it enough time the first visit. I did a little exploring and found this street. The "doorway" looking things are sculptures set into the brick showing the 14 stations of the cross.
